When he is not pastoring his people, Michael enjoys a good board game, disc golf, the Liverpool Football Club, and spending time with his family. He is currently pursuing a PhD in preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Michael has a great passion to see people walk with Christ and the church flourish through the teaching of the Word, prayer, and worship. They married in April of 2004 and enjoy raising their two children. Michael met Nikki after she graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill.
